It is our privilege to feed the vaccinators and we are so thankful for the many ways you have supported Feed the Fight Kalamazoo over the course of the past year.
You can check the recent media coverage on WOODTV8, as well as Fox 17, marking the anniversary of the pandemic declaration, about our efforts to Feed the Vaccinators.
When we delivered our first meals back in April 2020, never did we imagine that we would still be going nearly one year later, with close to 9000 meals purchased and delivered from local restaurants.
As we continue feeding the vaccinators, please consider making a gift.
$10 provides one meal to a frontline vaccinator, either volunteering or working at a clinic in our community. $500 can feed all of the staff and volunteers at a community vaccine clinic, like the one offered yesterday at Mayors’ Riverfront Park, led by our incredible healthcare partner the Family Health Center. We hope that if you are eligible, and have not yet received your shot, that you will make it to an upcoming drive-thru clinic. We will be delivering meals. Earlier this week, we also delivered meals to the FHC clinic at Comstock High School, as well as the KDHHS clinic at the Expo Center. Last week, in addition to deliveries to the Expo Center, we also fed community clinics at El Concilio and Mothers of Hope.
We can’t do this without your support. Thank you! We are thrilled to have recently received support from the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region to feed the volunteers and staff at community vaccine clinics, doing their utmost to ensure the equitable distribution of vaccines in our community.
