Restaurants: We need you!! Please Sign Up!!

Pickup at Middle Eastern Appetite and delivery at Bronson Methodist Hospital! Thank you to everyone that made this possible!
Feed the Fight Kalamazoo is built on a straightforward idea: the public donates money to FTF Kalamazoo, the money is used to purchase meals from local restaurants and then the meals are delivered to healthcare workers and first responders. The purchases support local restaurants while providing nourishing meals and a morale boost to those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. And the general public has a chance to demonstrate their gratitude while observing social distancing.
We are in need of restaurants or caterers who can provide 15-75 meals when requested by our healthcare and first responder partners. Some general guidelines:
-
Schedules and requests are usually 2-3 days in advance – sometimes less.
-
Quantities vary; it can be as few as 12-15 but will average around 50.
-
Meals must be prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen and be individually packaged.
-
If you can deliver, that’s great, but we also have a team of volunteers who can pick up and deliver.
-
We can pay $10 per meal with an optional delivery fee of $20 per order. Different pricing may be available if we get requests for snacks or other special requests.
-
Every attempt will be made to equitably distribute opportunities to all participating businesses.
-
Payment will be made by credit card.
If you would like to participate, please visit our website at http://www.ftfkalamazoo.org, click on the “Volunteer” button and fill out the simple form for restaurant owners. One of our volunteers will contact you to discuss matching current needs with your ability to contribute.
